Quick Start Guide
Complete the initial setup to enable file distribution.
Discord Mode Setup
#### Step 1: Authenticate with Discord
Select "Get Started" from the homepage and authorize TierVault via Discord OAuth. The system identifies servers where you hold administrator permissions.
#### Step 2: Select Your Server
Choose the target Discord server for file distribution. TierVault synchronizes your server's role hierarchy automatically.
#### Step 3: Install the Bot
Authorize the TierVault bot to your server. Required permissions are limited to sending messages and responding to slash commands.
#### Step 4: Upload Content
Navigate to the Files section in your dashboard. Upload files via drag-and-drop or file browser.
#### Step 5: Configure Access
Assign files to Discord roles. Files can be assigned to multiple roles, or use Priority Mode for automatic tier inheritance.
#### Step 6: Member Access
Members invoke the /download command in Discord to receive their personalized download portal.
Universal Mode Setup
#### Step 1: Create Your Account
Sign up at TierVault and complete the onboarding flow. Choose "Universal Mode" when prompted.
#### Step 2: Set Up Your Creator Page
Configure your public slug (e.g., tiervault.app/c/your-name). This is the link you'll share with subscribers.
#### Step 3: Define Your Tiers
Create tiers that match your subscription levels (e.g., "Basic", "Premium", "VIP"). Set priority order for tier inheritance.
#### Step 4: Upload Content
Navigate to the Files section. Upload files via drag-and-drop or file browser.
#### Step 5: Assign Files to Tiers
Select files and assign them to one or more tiers. Use Priority Mode for automatic inheritance.
#### Step 6: Add Subscribers
Go to the Subscribers page and add subscriber emails with their assigned tier. Subscribers will receive access immediately.
#### Step 7: Share Your Portal Link
Share your portal link (/c/your-slug) with subscribers. They log in with their email to access their files.
File distribution is now automated. Access is granted based on role (Discord) or tier (Universal) assignment.
